GASOLINE OR PETROL –
Petrol is a liquid mixture derived from petroleum consisting of aliphatic hydrocarbons and is enhanced with aromatic hydrocarbons. Petrol is used mainly as a fuel in engines which are of the internal combustion type.
This fuel is commonly referred to as petrol. People in North America refer to petrol as gas which is different from other gas fuels like liquid petroleum gas.
